Thanks I'll give that a shot. Plus I received this from someone at Gentoo this morning,
I'm updating the patchset for the Gentoo Kernel. I believe its a kernel issue. If its not resolved by these patches I'm going to email IBM directly about it. I've got a shell script that I ran from rc.local that I'll dig up sometime tonight. It was the only way that I could bring OSAs online during the 2.6 test kernels. The patchset should hit the mirrors by tomorrow morning. Mike I have a flavor of S/390 Linux called TAO up and running. I used this as the driving system. TAO is derived from RH 3. You can check out the 390 port at www.taolinux.org. TAO has been very stable. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: INFO LINUX-390 or visit http://www.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?LINUX-390
