Subject: Tao Linux: mounting additional dasd

Hi,

I've completed a successful install of Tao and now wish to add more dasd.
Initially, it was only installed with dasd 200, now I want to add 201, 202,
203 and 204. I saw that Redhat uses the options statement in modules.conf,
so I tried that -- to no avail. I also tried adding a dasd parameter to
zipl.conf, but that didn't work either.

[EMAIL PROTECTED] etc]# cat modules.conf
options dasd_mod dasd=200-204
[EMAIL PROTECTED] etc]# cat zipl.conf
[defaultboot]
default=linux
target=/boot/
[linux]
        image=/boot/vmlinuz-2.4.21-9.0.1.TL
        ramdisk=/boot/initrd-2.4.21-9.0.1.TL.img
        parameters="root=LABEL=/"
[EMAIL PROTECTED] etc]#

The only way I was able to successfully add then is: echo "add device
range=201" >> /proc/dasd/devices followed by echo "set device range=201 on"
>> /proc/dasd/devices.

Am I supposed to do something else after changing modules.conf?
