I have the z/OS 1.4 C/C++ compiler. If you tell me where to get the source to "netcat", I'll see if I can do a quick compile. But I don't know how long it will be for me to succeed, if indeed I do succeed. And, can OS/390 run something compiled with the z/OS 1.4 C/C++ compiler? I don't know!
