I don't see anything about the shell in this report.  It looks like it is purely a bug 
in the handling of the TS bit in the FPU on Intel processors.

an issue for z/Linux? The trusecure bulletin describes it as only an intel
problem, but I want to assure our management that z/linux is still free and
clear.
