Given the degree of hatred Sun shows for Linux/390, I would say that even if it were to run on Linux/390, they would tell you it doesn't.
If it's written completely in Java, it will probably work. If it is not, it definitely will not work. Give it a try and see what happens. (But even though Sun now owns it, I wouldn't hold my breath that it is written in Java.)
