For what it is worth, I just installed Tao Linux 2.4.21-15.TL2. I downloaded cpint (even though it isn't useful under Hercules). I then did the "make" and it worked fine. As Mark said, make sure that /lib/modules/2.4.21-15.TL2/build exists! On my system, this is a symlink to
