I don't know much about what (if anything) IBM has added to Apache. It might be simpler just to stick Squid into the mix and let it do the caching for you.

We just upgraded from the 1.3.28 version of the IBM HTTP server to the 2.0, and started serving static content for WebSphere applications using the IHS 2.0 and this seems to have improved performance a bit, but we're interested in caching some stuff too. Anyone have any advice? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: INFO LINUX-390 or visit http://www.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?LINUX-390 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: INFO LINUX-390 or visit http://www.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?LINUX-390
