Hi All,

I have  LVM 0.9.1 installed on a suse 7.2 production Lpar

When i run vgscan it goes like that ....
 
itapoa:/ora-backup # vgscan
vgscan -- reading all physical volumes (this may take a while...)
vgscan -- found active volume group "discovg08"
vgscan -- found active volume group "discovg"
vgscan -- found active volume group "discovg02"
vgscan -- found active volume group "discovg03"
vgscan -- found active volume group "discovg06"
vgscan -- found active volume group "discovg05"
vgscan -- found active volume group "discovg07"
vgscan -- "/etc/lvmtab" and "/etc/lvmtab.d" successfully created
vgscan -- WARNING: This program does not do a VGDA backup of your volume groups


But when i try pvcreate ...

itapoa:/ # pvcreate /dev/dasdbp1
pvcreate -- ERROR: VGDA in kernel and lvmtab are NOT consistent; please run vgscan


I tried vgscan and didn�t change anything.

Please Help;
