No. The term "processor" here is a bit misleading.

In this case, "processor" is used to reflect a single physical
system. An IOCDS contains the IO definition for a physical system.
The physical system or LPAR may have more than one CPU.

Most physical systems support about 5 IOCDSes (depends on the
processor model and microcode level). You generally cycle
through them so as not to overwrite a known working configuration. You
can activate a different one from the HMC at a POR.

It is possible to change them dynamically, but that's more complicated
than can be covered in a short note. Read the IOCP manuals for details
on how to set up dynamic IOCP changes.
