Just a guess but you probably are getting insecure port messages on linux guest (/var/log/messages)
if so try changing your exports file to include insecure option: i.e. /tmp/mnt/testnfs *(ro,insecure,root_squash,sync) Has to do with aix using ports < 1024... We didn't have a need for a permanent mount so this worked fine for us, there is probably a different way if you need to have a more "secure" connection. ----------------------------------- Jeremy Warren Sr. Systems Programmer KB Toy Stores mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]@kbtoys.com Troyski <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent by: Linux on 390 Port <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 07/28/2004 04:15 AM Please respond to Linux on 390 Port To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] cc: Subject: [LINUX-390] NFS exports from SLES8 Hi all, Has anyone successfully mounted an NFS filesystem exported from SLES8 SP3 for zSeries 31-bit to an AIX server?
