We just needed newer OSA adapter _microcode_ and certain "zVM-side tcpip
enabling" - I can ask my sysprog college but he is on holidays... 2,5 Years ago
there were some difficulties with OSA Express Adapters so we took ye old one...
On the Linux side we just needed to talk directly to the hardware via qeth/qdio
driver but these days maybe there are other ways - as already said, there are
some interesting articles (and a redpaper) ...

Also thanks for/to this mailinglist that helped me alot...
