I normally run with sound off.  This is a laptop and I'm fairly mobile with it - it 
gets
irritating for fellow-passengers on planes.

Today I'm at my usual base in Sheffield, England.  The weather is all over the place 
and makes
no sense at all - we've just had the wettest August since records began over a century 
ago -
we alternate brilliant sunny days and vicious storms dumping inches of rain at a time.
