I read your statement to mean that you want to centralize administration over your z/VM hosts.
Another person replied with the understanding that you want to centralize administration of you Linux/390 hosts. Can you clarify if one of these is what you meant to say, or if we both have it wrong, what are you trying to do? We run ACF2 on z/OS and I believe that there is an LDAP server available for ACF2. I also understand that the LDAP server is packaged with ACF2. That being the case, we should be able to run LDAP clients on the virtual machines and centralize the security administration. Sounds reasonable? __________________________________________ Ranga Nathan / CSG Systems Programmer - Specialist; Technical Services; BAX Global Inc. Since then, several more sets of patches have been put out by IBM. I've taken those patches and applied them to 2.4.26, and uploaded the resultant file to the web site. I also kept the older patch file around (under a different name), just in case someone wanted it. This latest set of patches will allow you to bring a 2.4.26 kernel current up to the level of linux-2.4.21-s390-16-june2003.tar.gz on developerWorks. It also includes the xipfs patches, the timer patch, and the kerntypes patch. I'm in the process of doing the same thing for 2.4.27, in case anyone wants that. I'll be sending out a note when it's ready. http://linuxvm.org/Patches/S390/ Mark Post ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: INFO LINUX-390 or visit http://www.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?LINUX-390 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: INFO LINUX-390 or visit http://www.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?LINUX-390 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: INFO LINUX-390 or visit http://www.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?LINUX-390
