They have one. I loaded it last week and we're fixing to setup our
tests.

We've been asking Veritas for a Netbackup client for SLES8 for a couple
of years now.
Still doesn't exist.
What are people using for SAN?

When you go with the SAN disk option, what are people doing for backup?
That sorta throws the whole CDL ting out the window.

We starting testing as well. The linux boot off SAN failed. We
discovered we needed a feature code for our z800.
We have ordered it but are waiting for it to arrive (and for IBM to
install
it) before we test again.

That would be something that needs support in the installer. I don't
know if either Red Hat or SUSE have that support in their Linux/390
installers.
I believe they do not, but would welcome corrections.

I have read how to "copy" an existing Linux image to an FCP attached
SCSI drive, then IPling it. This is well documented in Redbook
sg246344. I didn't read anything that explains how (or if you can)
install a fresh image onto an FCP drive.

Any thoughts?
