I did this once before. I'm pretty sure you need the entire directory structure starting with the s390 subdirectory. When you look at the default for YaST going to the official SUSE site, it is http://sdb.suse.de/download/

Has anyone set up a local mirror of the SuSE update site? I am having a hard time figuring out how much I need to grab to get the guest to recognize this as an update. I have been using wget to grab files from the http://sdb.suse.de/download/s390/update/SuSE-SLES/8/patches/ and rpm directories. I then export out those directories and point yast to look there for updates but it fails to see them as updates... Anybody know what files I am missing? Do I need to go up a directory level or two? Anythoughts would be appreciated.... -- Derric Goodwin z/Linux Support (312)985-3312 [EMAIL PROTECTED] ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: INFO LINUX-390 or visit http://www.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?LINUX-390 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: INFO LINUX-390 or visit http://www.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?LINUX-390
