In a recent Oracle 10g for Linux/390 class I took from IBM, I was told that VM 5.1 would begin to address this issue. So yes, the limitation is on it's way out. Now whether or not 5.1 will solve it completely or not, that I do not know yet. I'll check with the instructor (Dennis) to see if I might find out more.
