Yes, if the volsers make sense you can do full pack (define MDISK as 0
END). Otherwise, look at the DEVNO option for MDISK.

Provided the same OSA is both in z/VM and the old LPAR, you should be
able to make a virtual machine that resembles the LPAR enough that you
do not have the change things initially.
