Yes.  uname -r returns 2.6.5-7.111-s390x .  There is a directory in
/lib/modules that corresponds to this name.

Being new to Linux, I've been doing most of my work through Yast, including
downloading and applying patches.  It usually tells me when I should do
something extra such as run zipl.  Am I being too trusting?  Should zipl
be run after all patches?
