When did this get added?
On our 4.4 system.
HELP CP DEF --> DEFINE STORAGE
*shows* the CONFIG option.
On a 5.1 system, the command works fine: 15:49:12 Q CPLEVEL 15:49:12 z/VM Version 5 Release 1.0, service level 0401 (64-bit) 15:49:12 Generated at 08/31/04 17:33:32 CST 15:49:12 IPL at 11/17/04 16:45:56 CST 15:49:40 CP DEF STOR CONFIG 0.64M 128M.32M 15:49:40 STORAGE = 96M 15:49:40 Storage Configuration: 15:49:40 0.64M 128M.32M 15:49:40 Extent Specification Address Range 15:49:40 ---------------------------------- ----------------------------------- 15:49:40 0.64M 0000000000000000 - 0000000003FFFFFF 15:49:40 128M.32M 0000000008000000 - 0000000009FFFFFF 15:49:40 Storage cleared - system reset.
But on our 4.4 system (which is where I can burn all the cycles I want playing):
Ready; T=0.03/0.04 15:35:45 q cplevel z/VM Version 4 Release 4.0, service level 0401 (32-bit) Generated at 12/11/03 09:40:55 CST IPL at 11/09/04 11:03:18 CST Ready; T=0.01/0.01 15:35:49 cp def stor config 0.64m 128m.32m HCPZPM025E Storage missing or invalid Ready(00025); T=0.01/0.01 15:36:02
What's going wrong? Do I need a PTF to be able to use DEF STOR CONFIG ?
