I agree, upon reflection, the SWAPGEN probably wouldn't be the best
place to add in the DCSS builder code.

But we still need to be at the 2.6.x kernel level, correct, for the DCSS
device driver?

No, you can not share swap. The DCSS is defined as "Exclusive" which
means CP provides every virtual machine with its own private virtual
memory at that place, initialized from the contents of the DCSS.


If rob would be willing to share his CMS execs for building swap DCSS,
maybe we could add that function into SWAPGEN....:-))


I will polish the code and share that with folks. It is not
appropriate to put it in the SWAPGEN program because that is meant for
each Linux virtual machine to run before it IPLs Linux, where the DCSS
is generated only once and the instantiation is done by CP.
