Hi Mark, Regarding "auto update": I have the luxury of being in more of a test rather than production environment, so "throwing" all the latest patches on is perhaps more common, after all the point is to find these problems ;-)
fake_ll generates the LLC info; see the IBM Device Drivers and Commands manual.
