(Commercial distros on VSWITCH, yes.) I did find some weirdness when using Guest LAN. It seems that (occasionally? or always if I don't wait) the LAN has to be "kicked" before the systems will talk. I mean, I sometimes have to 'ifconfig eth0 wrong-addr' and then 'ifconfig eth0 right-addr' before it will play.
