My one cent: "CP FORCE guest WITHIN interval" will send the shutdown signal and give the linux guest "interval" seconds to shutdown; CP FORCEs the guest off when the guest finishes shutdown or interval expires; whichever comes first. This works whether the guest is running connected or disconnected.
