Followup: Two interesting things: I rebuilt glibc ensuring that the mentioned patch was applied and the XDR argument conversion problem seemed to disappear. I also did a virgin SLES9 install and it appears that rebuilding the NFS server and client RPMs from source also causes this problem to go away (or at least no longer issue the error message). I suspect that the NFS client RPM on SLES9 didn't get rebuilt somewhere as well. YMMV. -- db ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: INFO LINUX-390 or visit http://www.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?LINUX-390
