You know that FoxPro is a Microsoft product, don't you? Two reasons there is no Linux version:
1. Microsoft hates Linux, and refuses to port any of its products to Linux. 2. FoxPro is end of life, so there is no new development on it (no .Net FoxPro, etc). It occurs to me that reason 2 might be why your boss is asking about this. We ran into that problem here. I think all our FoxPro code is being reworked into Visual Basic. -----Original Message----- From: Linux on 390 Port [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Aristarc Diez Redorta Sent: Thursday, February 03, 2005 12:22 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Foxpro & Linux zSeries. Hi, my boss is a lover of Foxpro and has asked me if there are any possibility of running it on our SLES8 zSeries. All the links I found in the web make reference to the possibility of running Foxpro in Linux x86. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance.
