If you can wait just a little while, it will be certified.  The next
pathset, if I'm not mistaken, will have SLES9 certification.

And while you're at it, it doesn't hurt to try.

I know Oracle 10g isn't certified for use on SLES 9 (64bit), but I
thought I might try and install it. Has anybody managed to do this ? Or

As our zLinux install is relatively new we went straight on to SLES 9, I
am loathe to install SLES 8 in another LPAR just so I can get Oracle
running.
