If you can wait just a little while, it will be certified. The next pathset, if I'm not mistaken, will have SLES9 certification.
And while you're at it, it doesn't hurt to try. -----Original Message----- From: Harris, Christopher [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, February 04, 2005 9:19 AM To: LINUX-390@VM.MARIST.EDU Subject: Re: Experiences with Oracle 10g Database on Linux for zSeries I know Oracle 10g isn't certified for use on SLES 9 (64bit), but I thought I might try and install it. Has anybody managed to do this ? Or would I just be wasting my time ? As our zLinux install is relatively new we went straight on to SLES 9, I am loathe to install SLES 8 in another LPAR just so I can get Oracle running.
