So the CD version of the 3390 DDr install arrived at my datacenter this morning. Loaded the CD into the HMC DVD drive and tried an IPL from CD/Rom or Server. HMC returns unable to read CD or find software. Can I only use the DVD install version on the HMC ? HMC in question is at 1.7.3 (without integrated console) I was planning to use the operator messages for the primary install -- will this work ?
