Subject: SUSE SLES9 question

For the last few weeks I've been sticking my toe in the LINUX pool and
trying to get a feel of it. I'm having a hard time getting past a very
early step in the SLES9 install. I've ipled the kernel from the VM RDR and
when trying to use SAMBA to point to the first CD on my WIN2K pc to procede
with the install, it cannot find the CD drive. I've gone thru the
necessary steps to share the drive, I think, but I'm not having any luck
getting to it. If anyone has any suggestions or can remember any LINUX
quirks, I would appreciate it. Tomorrow, I'm going to put the CD in an IX
box and try to access it thru NFS or FTP, so maybe SAMBA will be a moot
point.
