Ralph,
How often do you change releases?   If you go to Microsoft do your
programmers understand that you are going into a "keep up or die" culture?
Yes the application programming fashionable, and hardware is cheap, but
microsoft does not provide long term support with regard to release levels.
The shift can be costly either in revamping how you do everything, or in
finding yourself unsupported because microsoft moves faster that you are
able to keep up.
