The people who reported installing under Hercules didn't seem to have any
particular Hercules-related problems.

Subject: Slack/390 under Hercules

Is anyone running Slack/390 under Hercules?

I'm currently using a mangled copy of Debian/390 under Hercules as a test
development platform (for testing code development on something other than
Intel x86). But this runs offline, and keeping it up to date is a pain for
various reasons due to the Debian tools wanting to be online (which is also
limited by V.34 speeds). Since I already use Slackware as my primary
platform for other things, this looks like the best course of action for me.

I'm sure I would be able to figure out most problems since I've gotten a
Debian/390 system running on Hercules, have used Slackware since 1.0, and
worked on VM/370 systems from 1976 to 1992. But, if anyone has any ideas or
shortcut pointers that can speed up making the change, that would be
appreciated.
