Sure, the way the drivers work in 2.6 is fairly elegant once you get
used to it...

But to understand what mkinitrd does with the initrd, and to get that
right imho requires a lobotomy. The thing is way too much trying to do
what's good for me even though I do not ask for it. I would like do
the thinking myself and compose the input files for mkinitrd rather
than have it go out and even issue CP commands to help me during
mkinitrd.
Especially since YaST blows up in my face with a segmentation fault
when I try to add disks the way it likes it, I end up doing it all
myself.
