Telnet works across the hipersockets. Ping and traceroute work. I can access
port 80 (using telnet) and get back an html error page. I can telnet into the
WAS servers and get an error page. Ftp works and I can get a directory of my
zOS files. I can telnet to SMTP.

Probing with telnet, I get a connection refused from the DB2 port, and from the
CICS ports. DB2 Connect gets a connection refused from the DB2 port.

Does anything else work across the hypersockets LAN?
