I finally gave gcc an -m64 option and ld an -melf64_s390 option but now insmod gives me

Does anyone have this working on this kernel?
You may also need to install the s390x headers for the kernel. Hmmm. Me, I'd go back to the s390 kernel unless there's a reason you need a 64-bit guest.
