We now have a z890 sitting on the floor and our planning specialist
needs to start defining LPARs and IOCP stuff. He wants to know what the
naming restrictions are for an IFL LPAR. So far our searches of the web
and IBM have not shown anything about naming conventions or
restrictions for the different LPARs.
Can anyone point us to some clear documentation of LPAR naming?
