Have you tried the GUI install, and does it work, or fail?

For some reason it was trying to double the required space for install and I was running out, and the install was crapping out without any warnings or errors. IBM recommended that I use the -w validate... flag and that did correct the problem. I did not receive any messages until after three hours though and if I recall correctly there was no indication of successful install except in the log.txt file. Richard W.
