How do I check Xauthority?
This is a default install of SLES9 64-bit. I have also checked the option for
remote admin in yast.

I don't know if this related to SLES9 being installed on zVM, but here
it goes...
I'm able to connect but get a black and white screen with an "X" for a
cursor. I never get the logon screen. I've tried googling the problem and
have tried many fixes with no success.
