Neither SUSE, nor Red Hat upgrade package versions, unless they absolutely
have to.  That's the whole idea about an "enterprise" version.  You get
stability at the cost of, well, stability in releases and features.  You get
bug, security, and hardware support fixes, and that's it.

Good point about latest levels.  But I guess I was under the impression that
as long as we keep up with service, the Sles8 images would have the same
levels as the Sles9 images (outside of the 31 vs 64 bit changes).

Is that not true?
