For those of you still using Windows on the desktop, and not using
rxvt+openssh as your SSH solution, there's a new version of Putty just
announced:

http://freshmeat.net/projects/putty/?branch_id=50746&release_id=192657

Major highlights, from my perspective: IPv6 support, reasonable
wildcard and recursion support in PSFTP, keepalive packets.

However, I've drunk the Mac Kool-Aid on the desktop, so, like Moses
(and have you seen my beard recently?), this is a Promised Land I will
not enter myself. But if you're stuck using a Windows desktop, and you
don't want to install the whole Cygwin environment (and helpful as it
is, it's not like I can blame you for that choice), Putty is both about
the best SSH implementation for Windows and free.
