You don't need a network connection to use GMT. You set the clock in your machine to the time at Greenwich, in the UK (the site considered the reference for Coordinated Universal Time, aka Greenwich Mean Time or GMT), and set your operating system for an offset of -12 hours (I think Japan is 12 hours behind the UK). > HMC has Japanese time now.(Is this local time?)
