I thought the thread discussion was interesting so I I went and grabbed ned
because I can see that being a handy thing....

The build directory referenced in the ned documentation in the command :cd
/lib/modules/$(uname -r)/build/Documentation/s390 is a broken symbolic link
to /usr/src/linux-{kernel version} as I never installed the linux source
files due to space constraints.

I am running SLES 8.1 SP4 on the test sysstem so if everythig I've read is
correct, the support is in the kernel I am running.

I just cannot make the following work:

cd /lib/modules/$(uname -r)/build/Documentation/s390
sh config3270.sh
sh /tmp/mkdev3270

Because of the broken symbolic link. Is there a way to do this without
installing the kernel source? Can someone send me config3270.sh or is it
going to require a bunch of other things from the /usr/src/linux-{kernel
version} dir?

Thanks
