How can I tell if I have Samba set up as a domain controller? I just set
up Samba on one of our images yesterday to serve up file shares to Windows
boxes and I'm having performance problems. I can't tell whether the
trouble is with Samba or the Windows network or with something in between.

Thanks,
Jon

<snip>
Having said that, don't mix and match SAMBA based with Windows based
Primary Domain Controlers (or Backup Domain Controllers). Samba does not
play well with other Window based (e.g. 2003 server) Primary Domain
Controllers, if it itself is defined as a Domain Controller.
