The (very) confusing line is: WebSphere Application Server as a 31-bit application on 64-bit machines booted with 31-bit kernel is not supported.
I BELIEVE this means if you have installed sles9x but boot it with a 31bit kernel (why would you??) you are unsupported. If you install 31bit WAS6.0.1 you SHOULD be supported running: SLES 9 31bit SLES 9 SP1 31bit SLES 9 64bit (running 64bit kernel) SLES 9 SP1 64 bit (running 64bit kernel) SLES 8 SP3 31 bit SLES 8 SP3 64 bit I'm not an IBM employee so you'll have to verify with your Service Delivery Manager but this is what we have been told. > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf > Of Peter E.
