I'm sorry for the misunderstanding: supported != supported.
At that time, I didn't have any definite information whether it is
properly implemented (but apparently it is). The thing is that I do not
have been able to dig up to proper information yet about the technical
implementation (apart from reading source code) and about configuration
without that graphical frontend either. This makes it hard to provide
tech support for EVMS beyond citing the redbook, however it does
*not* mean that it won't work. But in fact Novell provides tech
support (within Premium Services) for EVMS multipathing via zFCP, I've
been able to get confirmation for that today.
I'm always very careful and honest when it comes to questions like "will
it work", in my experience features that I haven't been able to test
myself and where I haven't got any feedback tend to cause headache...
But in this case it should simply work.
