Could be. If it were me, and I decided to use the zSeries as an
Oracle-only server. I would either (1) use Linux stand-alone with a few
LPARs, if needed; (2) use z/VM and Linux if there were a need for a
larger number of Linux instances; or (3) use z/OS.e (not z/OS) because
it is significanly cheaper than z/OS (full function).

However, I don't see any of the above happening. What I see is either
z/OS going forward, or being converted to Windows and MS SQL.
