We did fine once we switched from reiser to ext3. I'm not sure what the issue was. Of course now we are installing all of the packages now and are using just 1 3390 mod 9 (7 1/2 GIG). Not full yet but who knows how long that will last.

We ended up creating an LVM just for this purpose. This is the method we've been trying to use. But we keep running out of space (unpack's of rpm files). We may try ext3 rather than reiser. I don't know if it will matter. -----Original Message----- From: Linux on 390 Port [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Cameron Seader Sent: Monday, July 18, 2005 5:28 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: SLES9 Installation - Very Basic On Monday 18 July 2005 3:27 pm, Smith, Ann (ISD, IT) wrote: Make a SLES 9 install server, The doc on this is on CD1 under the docu directory. -Cameron > I have finally ordered SLES9 for zseries. > I ordered media which I have received. > There are 6 CD's for SLES9 64-bit for zseries and > 6 CD's for 31-bit for s/390.
