Thank you for responding. I ran the mksles9root and then installed SLES9x using NFS. It all worked great. SLES9 boots fine and SPident shows:
CONCLUSION: System is up-to-date! found SLES-9-s390x-SP2 All that part worked fine. The problem is when I go into YaST2 Online Updates, it still gives me a list of every update. YaST2 thinks I do not have any patches applied. How do I sync YaST2 database with the RPM database?
