I have been a big un-fan of reiserfs since it ate a bunch of my mail spool under heavy load (on LVM disk across ten minidisks). I try hard to avoid its use these days. For what it's worth, I use signal shutdown on guests with ext3 all the time and have never had corruption issues.
I've lost data to reiserfs 5 times over the years on Intel. I have avoided that filesystem like the plague ever since. ext2, ext3, and xfs are the only ones I trust fully for Linux. *Brandon ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: INFO LINUX-390 or visit http://www.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?LINUX-390
