OPERATORs console log should be spooled.  Log on to OPERATOR, close the
console and take a look at the log for the timeframe you indicated.  It
may have a clue.

(other than dmesg, which is for the current session).  Or perhaps z/VM may
have a log of the user session, just in case someone accidentally logged
off?
