No surprise. They follow mainframe Linux closely. It scares the pants off them. Early on, I had a "fishing" call from one of the MS product strategy people looking for a copy of papers on mainframe Linux. The person pretended to be a business person looking for info, but I was on the phone and they had to leave a message. The number left was a number at Microsoft (and the voicemail said so). When she called back, the question "So how's the weather in Redmond these days?" elicited a very ... long ... pause. The tone of the conversation changed significantly at that point. Moments like that keep one warm at night...8-) -- db ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: INFO LINUX-390 or visit http://www.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?LINUX-390
