Hi Folks, I,m having problem to update my vanilla Sles 9 version - 64 Bits to SP2
I have an existing SLES9 GA - 64 Bits and trying to install the SP2 update. I down loaded the three ISO files from the SuSE Portal. All checked out ok with MD5SUM. I then uploaded them to a SLES9 system that we use as a software repository. Tried using FTP 'system update' and then tried the 'patch update' The system update ran and then stopped at or near the end of CD1. It would not pick up on CD2. I tried copyng CD1 and CD2 to xxx, created CD1 link and register xxx as a instalation source and didn“t work either. In both cases it would not pick up on CD2. Various messages thru the attempts as FTP and local directory, all seem to be that it cannot find the media or CD2. I do not recall having these types of problems with SP1 on SLES9 - 64 Bits. Anyone successfully applied the SP2 to an existing SLES9 GA - 64 Bits ?
